About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Care Manager to join our leadership team. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be the senior clinical leader responsible for the governance, delivery, and continuous improvement of safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
This is a pivotal role in shaping the future of our service, ensuring compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and current legislation, while fostering a culture of accountability, learning, and care excellence.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and oversee all aspects of clinical care and governance.
· Ensure residents’ health, wellbeing, dignity, and independence are supported through evidence-based practice.
· Manage the Continuous Quality Improvement program, audits, and accreditation.
· Oversee care planning, assessments, clinical documentation, and AN-ACC compliance.
· Lead and mentor a dedicated team of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and Care Staff.
· Partner with the Resident Experience Manager to deliver holistic care that integrates cultural, spiritual, and lifestyle needs.
· Provide expert clinical advice to the General Manager and Board.
About You
You are an experienced aged care clinical leader who is passionate about resident-centred care and excited by the opportunity to shape and strengthen clinical governance in a values-based organisation. You thrive in leading teams, embedding quality systems, and building trusted relationships with residents, families, staff, and the wider community.
Essential skills and experience:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a residential aged care setting.
- Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Act, Quality Standards, and AN-ACC funding model.
- Proven ability to manage teams, ensure compliance, and drive quality improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative leadership style.
- Commitment to the mission, values, and Orthodox Christian ethos of Saint Nicholas Aged Care.
Desirable:
- Ability to speak Greek and/or familiarity with Greek culture.
