Your role
System engineers are responsible for providing subject matter expertise and operational support of all NAPA data
center, server, and cloud platform components and configuration.
Key Responsibilities
1. Configure and maintain infrastructure enterprise platforms, both on-prem and cloud based
2. Manage key cloud, server, and on-prem equipment/SaaS suppliers
3. Maximize and ensure stable enterprise platform performance through monitoring and proactive maintenance; troubleshooting, and outages; scheduling upgrades; data center, server and cloud platform optimization, performance management and capacity planning.
4. Ensure uptime and monitoring of all network infrastructure
5. Design consistent secure enterprise platform architecture by partnering with the IT team to establish and enforce policies; define and monitor access
6. Plan and perform enterprise platform upgrades, expansions, and new implementation projects
7. Maintain accurate infrastructure diagrams and documentation for design and planning
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
8. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field; or equivalent professional experience
9. 8+ years of experience with infrastructure engineering, architecture, and design
10. 3+ years of AZURE design and administration experience
11. One or more industry leading certifications preferred such as MCSA or MCSE. AZURE certifications a plus
DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
12. Experiences with Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory Administration, Certificate Authority Configuration, DHCP Configuration RDS Design & Configuration, File Services Architecture & Configuration, and DFS Architecture & Configuration
13. Internal & External SSL Certificate Administration
14. High availability infrastructure design and technology
15. Experience with SAML/AZURE AD/SSO configurations and troubleshooting

*This is a virtual position, with occasional travel to our Melville, NY office.
