Overview

We are seeking to establish a pool of Health and Physical Education Primary Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Osborne Primary School is an Independent Public School situated close to Perth city, catering for a large percentage of students from diverse multicultural, socio-economic and language backgrounds. The whole school community work closely together to support the overall development and wellbeing of our students. We are ideally seeking enthusiastic and dedicated teachers who possess strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills to successfully deliver a wide range of engaging activities, which are aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum. To develop students’ physical skills and abilities, suitable applicants should be able to access Sporting Schools grants to plan, facilitate and run lessons, before and after school programs, and whole-school sporting events.

Initially, we are seeking a teacher for a 0.4FTE role in 2026.

Responsibilities

Deliver the Western Australian Curriculum for Health and Physical Education at the primary level. Plan, facilitate and assess a range of engaging activities aligned with curriculum requirements. Access Sporting Schools grants to plan, deliver and run lessons, before and after school programs, and whole-school sporting events. Foster positive relationships and contribute to the wellbeing and development of students within a diverse school community.

Qualifications and Skills

Enthusiastic and dedicated teachers with strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and ability to implement a broad range of physical education activities.
