Project Support Officer
The role of Business Support Officer is primarily administration focused and encompasses the following scope of duties:
1. Records Management (Objective)
2. Correspondence drafting and management
3. Identifying shortfalls in process and developing process documentation
4. Recruitment assistance inductions / exits, recruitment process support
5. Travel assistance, including bookings, acquittals, allowances
6. Base level ICT support (email set up, provisioning of equipment, logging support requests)
7. Vehicle Management
8. Security Officer (desirable but not critical)
9. Asset Management of attractive and portable items
10. Minor Procurement support
11. Management of Workgroup Operating Costs budget
12. General ad hoc administrative and business support tasks
It is critical that the PSO is flexible and able to operate at a high tempo, in the very dynamic environment which is PPB SPO. While it is difficult to define, PPB SPO needs a go-to person who will take on any challenge and self-initiate solutions. Experience within the Defence environment and knowledge of Defence systems and processes would be highly valued. Being that this is a short-term role, PPB SPO needs someone to hit the ground running, with very little training input.
