In this dynamic role, you'll provide essential support to our Environmental Health team through a mix of administrative tasks and hands-on fieldwork.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Assisting with mosquito management programs, including larvicide application, trapping, and monitoring for mosquito-borne viruses.
* Conducting water sampling across towns and remote locations.
* Performing statutory inspections of food premises, accommodation providers, and pool fencing to ensure compliance with public health legislation.
* Supporting community health initiatives and contributing to programs that maintain and improve environmental health across the Shire.
