Overview
What this opportunity involves:
As Assistant Project Manager (APM) you will be expected to contribute independently to the tasks below. This means as an APM, you demonstrate some familiarity with the subject matter and are able to produce these deliverables with guidance from senior team members.
As the Assistant Project Manager you are expected to take responsibility for the effective management of all phases of smaller/less complex projects from initial establishment to handover and project closure. These projects would be managed under the guidance of a Project Manager/Director of Projects.
* Prepare and distribute weekly and fortnightly project updates to tenants for capital works projects
* Prepare and distribute project updates for operations projects
* Draft and maintain ongoing updates to project briefs
* Prepare comprehensive completion reports upon project closure
* Process project invoicing in accordance with client requirements and JLL procedures
* Track and document project variations, ensuring proper approval processes are followed
* Establish/maintain project budgets in accordance with client requirements
* Establish and maintain anticipated cost reports, including cash flows and accruals
* Assist the project team to prepare initial project briefings for submission to client for approval
* Establish/Maintain detailed overall project programmes that set clear milestones and objectives
* Manage minor projects independently
* Draft Vendor RFQ/RFT (Request for Quotation/Tender) preparation, scope writing and tendering

Qualifications
* Confidently manage multiple project deliveries from inception initial briefing to project completion and Defect Liability Period (DLP)closure
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, and cost reporting systems
* Strong Understanding of project delivery methods, processes and commercial negotiations
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and tenant interactions
* Ability to manage financial tracking and reporting across multiple concurrent projects
