Head Chef Job Overview
This role plays a significant part in enhancing the quality of life for residents by providing delicious and nutritious meals. You will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
Main Responsibilities
* Menu Planning: Assist with designing menus that cater to residents' dietary requirements, considering their health conditions, dietary needs, and preferences.
* Food Preparation: Prepare and cook meals using fresh ingredients and following proper food handling and safety protocols.
* Quality Control: Ensure all meals meet high-quality standards in taste, appearance, and portion sizes, making adjustments as needed based on resident feedback.
* Inventory & Budget Management: Manage kitchen stock levels efficiently, sourcing ingredients cost-effectively and minimizing food waste.
* Nutritional Analysis: Work with dietitians and nutritionists to analyze the nutritional content of meals, aiming to provide well-balanced and healthy options for residents.
