Your new job includes

As key member of our retail operations team, the Retail Trainer will be the main responsible to make sure the team is provided with relevant, frequent and consistent content in regard to product and service, aligned with Heinemann's vision of turning travel time into valuable time, as the most human-centric company in global travel retail. Reporting into the Head of Operations, you will join a passionate team of retail leaders to ensure our vision, mission and commitments of developing Impressive Employees, and delivering Unforgettable Experiences to our customers, is realised.

You will be responsible for (but not limited to):

* Partner with the retail operations leadership team to drive sales performance, a culture of service excellence, and introduce and embed new initiatives.
* Deliver a high standard of retail training to all locations of our retail operations team.
* Support with the development of retail training programs and be the key point of contact for outsourced training providers to ensure all training is aligned with the Heinemann way of working.
* Monitor customer service feedback, and partner with the Head of Operations to implement and embed new initiatives to continually improve on the customer service experience for the Heinemann customer.
* Ongoing presence at all Heinemann Australia stores to provide exceptional support in developing our retail team member's capabilities, and attitude and ability to delivering exceptional customer service.
* Identify and coach 'service champions' in our stores, to create advocates for exceptional customer service experiences.
* Develop a training calendar for operations procedures to ensure all retail team members are educated on best practice procedures and are up to date with current operations policies.
* Assist the sales operations leaders to embed an exceptional standard of Heinemann grooming standards, as part of our service offering.

What you should bring along:

* Previous experience in training and facilitation in a service-based industry (i.e. - fashion, perfume & Cosmetics, hotels)
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent on-the-job training experience.
* High level of communication skills (written and verbal)
* Ability to influence and positively engage stakeholders
* Ability and willingness to travel interstate.
* High level of organisational skills, with intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
* A passion for best practice customer service.
