A new opportunity to join a progressive company and the leader of the Motorcycle and Powersports Industry in Newcastle and the Hunter Valley. As Human Resource Manager - Automotive you will play a key role in the expansion of the Brisans brand. We are currently looking for an experienced individual, who is goal driven and personable to join our dynamic team.

Current team 50. Expected team 70 within 12 months.

The successful candidate's role will include:


•Offering the #1 Motorcycle experience


•Provide strategic HR guidance to operational leaders across NSW


•Lead employee relations matters, including performance management grievances, and workplace investigations


•Support workforce planning, talent acquisition, and continuous improvement of the employee experience


•Drive culture, engagement, and retention initiatives


•Support the delivery of learning and development programs


•Lead HR reporting, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives


•Ensure compliance with legislation and Awards


•Represent NSW in the Fair Work Commission for any unfair dismissal, general protections, and stop bullying claims


•Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports, with a focus on developing a high performing and highly capable team.

To be considered for this position, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and expertise:


•Demonstrated experience in an HR Manager role, or proven capability and readiness to step up into the position.


•Strong ER/IR with sound knowledge of Fair Work legislation


•Confident in leading complex matters and providing high-level advice


•Ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels


•Highly organised, solutions focused, and resilient


•Demonstrated experience in building strong working relationships


•Ability to handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy.


•Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders.


•Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
