Key Requirements
The successful candidate will live or work within a reasonable distance of an auxiliary fire station and possess Australian Permanent Resident Status. A Manual C Class driver's licence is also required.
The role involves committing to attending 50% of incident calls as day workers or 30% as shift workers. Regular drills and training sessions must be attended, and an MRV licence obtained within 12 months.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Respond to fire and other emergency incidents as part of a team.
* Promote community safety and emergency preparedness by contributing to community education activities.
* Develop and maintain competencies by participating in regular drills and training courses.
* Maintain required attendance standards for emergency incidents and training.
