About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and professional Marketing Manager to develop MLEI's marketing function, along with Head of Marketing and talented creative team. This team member will drive routine marketing operations, corporate and employer brand, delivery of strategic initiatives across submissions, brand, digital, industry engagement.
Working closely with leaders and team members, this position will ensure our brand grows with our business, internally and externally with consistency and innovation.
This is a dynamic opportunity for a Marketing professional eager to grow within a supportive, expanding consultancy. This position is offered as full time or part time and while based in Adelaide is preferred, we are open to flexible locations for the right candidate.
Key result areas:
* Contribute to development of and implement strategic marketing plan aligned with MLEI's growth organic objectives in key sectors
* Position brand, services, and expertise in key markets/ sectors
* Work closely with Business Development teams to define target sectors, identify market opportunities, segment clients, and support lead generation and opportunity development
* Lead and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns including digital (SEO/SEM/ website, social, email), content marketing (white-papers, case-studies, blogs), events/ tradeshows, sponsorships and PR
* Manage marketing budget, agency and internal team members, ensure campaigns deliver value, report on performance metrics and refine initiatives based on insights
* Analyse market, competitor and client insights to inform strategy, identify competitive differentiators and guide launches and positioning
* Support stakeholder management, collaborating with engineers, project managers, leadership team and external partners to deliver aligned and credible marketing activities
* Manage marketing team, and grow high-performance culture
* Lead, advocate and position MLEI as preferred consultancy through marketing activities
* Contribute to MLEI's strategy for product, placement and pricing
* Collaborate and coordinate with teams for consistency across brand, business development, employer brand and project delivery activities
* Deliver and maintain effective templates for internal and external use, align with corporate brand/ distinctive assets
* Oversight for marketing activities
* Oversee consistency and deliverables of tenders and submissions demonstrating capability, capacity and competence
* Grow and develop suite of document templates and distinctive assets for use across the group for business, project and marketing activities
* Identify and embed consistent "story" in marketing activities
* Develop and grow MLEI's digital presence, across web and social profiles, with effective content of project profiles, team member news, business growth news and other relevant updates, with expert input from technical teams
* Engage with People & HR team for employer brand and EVP positioning through digital presence and support recruitment and retention
* Conduct research and analysis on initiatives, solutions and pathways to support key responsibility areas
* Contribute to routine and ad-hoc reporting

You will bring:
* Minimum 4 + years marketing experience, preferably in in B2B, professional services, Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or business (or equivalent)
* Effective people management and leadership skills, balancing priorities and multiple deadlines
* Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen and ability to translate business goals into marketing activities
* Confident communicator (written and verbal)
* Contribute technically credible content in collaboration with engineers and technical teams
* Strong stakeholder management skills, influence leadership and cross functional teams
* Proficiency with Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva
* Knowledge of digital marketing tools (Google Ads & Analytics, Meta Business Suite, SEO/SEM)
* Exceptional copywriting and storytelling skills
* Analytical mindset with experience tracking performance, KPI's, budget and value added
* Familiarity with marketing automation, CRM, digital analytics
* Ability to work strategically and hand-on in dynamic, environment
