At PCH Civil, we're proud to deliver Straight-Up Excellence across Western Australia's most exciting civil and mining projects. As our business grows, we're looking for a Finance Manager to join our finance team and strengthen our financial & management reporting, controls & governance.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on approach liaising with project controls and working across both technical accounting and operational finance, taking ownership of month-end processes and ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting that supports business decision-making.
What You'll Do
* Own and manage the month-end close process, working with the finance & project controls team to deliver accurate reporting.
* Manage a growing transactional finance team, liaising with project controls and payroll.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, including prior period analysis.
* Maintain strong balance sheet controls and reconciliations across the business.
* Manage multi-entity consolidation and tax-effect entries where required.
* Lead coordination of the annual external audit, working closely with auditors and internal stakeholders.
* Support the CFO with forecasting, cashflow insights, and financial analysis.
* Drive improvements in the financial controls environment and reporting processes.
What You'll Bring
* CA or CPA qualification.
* 7-10+ years' experience in financial reporting, accounting, or finance leadership roles.
* Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, audit processes, and compliance requirements.
* Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability.
* Experience working in construction, infrastructure, or project-based industries (preferred).
* A proactive mindset with the ability to work autonomously and collaborate with stakeholders.
* High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, integrity, and continuous improvement.
