Are you a degree-qualified Mechanical Design Engineer with 3+ years of experience, ideally gained within a services contractor environment (or at least expeirence within Commercial Construction)? We are seeking a talented and driven individual to join this dynamic team. Their pipeline is locked and loaded well into 2028, so you'll be stepping into a business with stability, ambition, and serious momentum.
You will be joining one of Australia's leading services contractors who provide a suite of services across mechancial/HVAC, & Electrical Services within the Commercial Construction sector.
In this role, you will be instrumental in the design and development of innovative mechanical systems for a variety of exciting projects; health, commercial, data-centre, defence. You will leverage your expertise to create efficient and effective solutions, working collaboratively with a skilled team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and engineer mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and codes.
* Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and reports.
* Conduct calculations and simulations to validate design concepts.
* Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes.
About You:
* 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably with a services contractor.
* Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks).
* Strong understanding of Australian building codes and standards.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
