We have an exciting opportunity to join our Procurement and Contracts team in Sydney and are currently looking for a Procurement Manager.
The purpose of this role is to drive the upcoming transformation of procurement and contract management by identifying and bridging gaps between legacy processes and a new strategic vision. Lead hands‐on fixes and redesigns while managing ongoing workloads to ensure continuity, compliance, and commercial value. Facilitate stakeholder alignment and system improvements to embed sustainable, efficient procurement practices that deliver measurable results and sustainable value for the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide governance and strategic oversight across the procurement lifecycle to ensure compliance, transparency, and commercial value.
2. Oversee tendering, commercial negotiations, and contract renewals with a focus on driving business value and continuous improvement.
3. Identify efficiency opportunities in the current procurement and contract management processes, recommending and executing practical fixes and redesigns.
4. Develop and implement new frameworks, tools, and controls that enhance procurement efficiency, risk management, and supplier performance.
5. Lead stakeholder engagement to set expectations, build alignment, and embed new ways of working across business units.
6. Partner with IT, Finance, Legal, and other operational leaders to ensure cohesive procurement strategies that balance agility, cost control, and policy integrity.
7. Act as an escalation point for complex procurement or supplier performance issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
What You Will Bring To The Role
8. 5+ years experience in Senior Procurement Roles.
9. Specialised knowledge of procurement concepts, processes, activities.
10. Strong negotiation skills and ability to think outside the box.
11. Strong commercial analysis, analytical interpretation and problem-solving skills.
12. Specialised knowledge and understanding of contractual documents and clauses.
13. Strong verbal and written communication.
14. Working knowledge of finance and/or account in terms of budgeting, cost management etc.
15. Supplier relationship and internal stakeholder management.
16. Previous experience working on SaaS, other Technology Categories and Corporate Services Categories.
17. Proactive and professional, with a mature outlook and the ability to quickly adjust to changing business needs.
