Cloud Transformation Strategy
Our company is seeking a seasoned professional to lead cloud transformation strategy initiatives. This role requires expertise in Oracle ERP Cloud transformations, strong business acumen, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop a compelling business case for Oracle cloud ERP transformation, incorporating financial and non-financial benefits.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to design assessments and develop cloud migration strategies, including multi-year journey maps for business process transformation and organization change management.
* Manage client relationships, advising on problem-solving and issue resolution.
* Support the design of cloud operating models, encompassing broad understanding of required cloud operations capabilities, processes, roles/responsibilities, and organization structures.
* Evaluate different products for business functions.
* Lead client discussions to define issues and opportunities, delivering practical solutions.
Thought Leadership & Practice Development
* Contribute to the development and delivery of service offerings.
* Participate in blueprinting and designing finance transformation.
* Provide insights on emerging perspectives and points of view on package-enabled transformations and emerging products/practices.
* Offer patterns, best practices, and white papers on ERP transformation strategy and service offering-related areas.
* Capture work products, insights gained, and intellectual property created, uploading them into the firm's knowledge management system.
* Stay informed on trends in business practices and emerging products/technologies.
* Actively update or upgrade one's level of expertise or knowledge.
* Share expertise with others on the team and with clients.
* Demonstrate knowledge of emerging technologies and their impact on finance and accounting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree with an MBA or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
* At least 15+ years of experience implementing and managing package-enabled business transformations involving Oracle applications.
* Business transformation and Oracle implementation experience, with at least 3 end-to-end implementations of Oracle at client locations using a global delivery model, and at least 1 with ERP Cloud.
* Well-defined management consulting experience, including project management and/or business analysis.
* Strong understanding of business and market dynamics, financial practices, and supportive technology advancements in Oracle ERP Cloud and other products.
* Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC).
* Proficient with industry-standard program management tools and practices.
* Able to travel 4 days a week to multiple local, state, and national client locations.
Preferred Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years' experience implementing one of these Oracle Service areas: Oracle Financials Cloud AR, AP, GL, Treasury, Projects.
* Ability to translate how technology impacts business capabilities, with good conversational knowledge of the core Oracle Cloud finance applications and functions.
* Industry domain knowledge in Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing, Retail, CPG, Communications.
* Experience managing business processes across multiple functional areas in an organization and appreciation of how they impact each other.
* Good understanding of the latest industry trends in business processes and practices across different functional areas like finance, supply chain (inbound and outbound), inventory and warehouse management, manufacturing, planning, and customer relationship management.
* Demonstrated capability to provide thought leadership and architect business solutions across functional areas.
* Ability to lead teams to deliver business solutions and projects, mentoring team members to learn and take on higher responsibilities.
