MACA is seeking a Senior Mining Supervisor to join the team in a permanent full‐time role on an 8:6, 7:7 FIFO roster from Perth to one of our top gold projects located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead day‐to‐day open pit mining operations to achieve production plans, schedules and budget targets through effective use of plant, equipment and manpower.
* Work closely with the Mining Superintendent to align operations with site strategy, provide accurate reporting, and support planning requirements.
* Lead and mentor Mining Supervisors and production crews through effective shift handovers, pre‐starts, toolbox meetings, performance management and workforce planning.
* Ensure all works are planned and executed in accordance with contract requirements, mine plans, engineering designs, statutory obligations and site procedures.
* Champion Health, Safety and Environmental compliance through inspections, permit and JSA adherence, and leading incident investigations through to close‐out.
* Develop workforce capability through coaching, performance reviews and structured training to build a multi‐skilled, high‐performing team.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, manage risk and improve operational and safety performance.
To be successful in this role, you will possess
* Significant senior supervisory experience in open pit mining, with proven capability leading and developing Mining Supervisors and frontline leadership teams.
* A strong commitment to health, safety and environmental leadership, with the ability to embed a positive safety culture across the workforce.
* Extensive operational experience with a solid understanding of mine planning, production execution, equipment utilisation and statutory compliance.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, enabling effective collaboration with Superintendents and cross‐functional teams.
* Well‐developed people leadership, decision‐making and problem‐solving skills, with experience managing performance, risk and competing priorities.
* Hold a current Statutory Supervisor (S26) certification, or be willing and able to obtain prior to 30 March, and a current valid driver's licence.
