The Brisbane Festival is seeking a bold and innovative Artistic Director to lead the organisation through its next era of development.

This is a unique opportunity for a creative visionary to steer the organisation through the lead up to a major international event.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for building on the artistic and commercial success of the festival, collaborating across borders and working with other arts companies, shareholders, sponsors and donors.
Expand on and build new connections in the arts sphere and also with corporate, philanthropic and government stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a strategic vision for the festival's artistic and commercial direction.
2. Collaborate with the board and senior management to set the festival's overall goals and objectives.
3. Lead a team of artists, curators and producers to deliver a high-quality programme of events.
4. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including sponsors, donors and partners.
5. Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Artistic Director or equivalent role in the arts sector.
* Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
* Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a strong understanding of the arts and cultural landscape.
* Experience of working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
