We have an incredible opportunity for a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join our esteemed Children's Services team in the heart of Homerton. This ongoing full-time position offers a chance to apply your expertise and make a significant difference in the lives of infants and children, predominantly under the age of five, who have a range of needs including neuro‐disability and difficulties with eating, drinking, and swallowing.

What you will do
* Deliver a high‐quality specialist speech and language therapy service as part of a multi‐disciplinary team at Hackney Ark Child Development Centre, including home visits and visits to care settings.
* Collaborate with families to assess and diagnose children and young people with a diverse range of speech, language, and communication needs, considering their first language where possible.
* Contribute to the multi‐professional assessment of children with complex disabilities, including those with autistic spectrum disorders, learning difficulties, and eating and drinking needs.
* Develop and implement specialist support and intervention programmes tailored for each child as part of the multi‐disciplinary team.
* Train and raise awareness of speech, language and communication development, and dysphagia for parents, teachers, support staff, and other professionals within a wide‐ranging cultural spectrum.
Requirements
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Speech and Language Therapy with HCPC registration.
* Recent UK/NHS post‐qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist.
