Base pay range
A$140,000.00/yr - A$150,000.00/yr

This strategic backing enables the organisation to continually evolve and deliver best-in-class service across the foodservice sector. The executive team places high importance on getting it right for payroll compliance. You\'ll be working closely with a Head of Payroll Projects. After the initial training period, there is an opportunity to WFH 2 days per week.
Description
This is a high-impact role focused on cross-functional collaboration and business partnering, where you\'ll help drive meaningful change across the organisation. As the Payroll Compliance & Data Analyst, you\'ll work with large and complex datasets to identify discrepancies, support remediation efforts, and ensure compliance with awards, enterprise agreements, and Fair Work legislation. You\'ll partner with HR, Finance, Legal, and Analytics teams to validate findings and deliver insights that shape strategic decisions.
Responsibilities
* Interpret and apply relevant awards, enterprise agreements, and Fair Work legislation.
* Analyse payroll data to identify compliance discrepancies and calculate remediation amounts.
* Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, and Analytics teams to validate findings and ensure accuracy.
* Document methodologies and audit trails to support transparency and compliance.
* Support the development of remediation strategies and payment plans.
* Provide recommendations to improve payroll processes and prevent future compliance issues.
* Contribute to system and process implementation projects with a compliance lens.
Profile / Qualifications
* Strong payroll background, including a deep understanding of end-to-end payroll operations.
* Proven experience in payroll compliance and data analysis, ideally in a remediation context.
* Solid knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements.
* High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex compliance matters to non-technical stakeholders.
