Overview
This global pharmaceutical company develops and promotes a range of pharmaceuticals in Australia and in international markets. They are experiencing incredible success and growth and are one of the leading pharmaceutical organisations in the world.
Role
They are looking for two Territory Managers, in Sydney, for their established animal health division, primarily companion animal, to look after key accounts and other customers in the vet & pet retail channels.
Background Preferences
They are open to an Animal Health, Pet Food (as long as sold to vet & pet channels), GP Pharma Rep or Generic Pharmacy or OTC/Consumer Health sales background (if from OTC pharmacy, you will need to have sold technical products such as vitamins), with strong clinical acumen and proven sales results. Or you may be from a vet practice, a manager or nurse, without sales, looking to move into a commercial role.
Growth Plans
They have strong growth plans and are seeking someone who can take this business to the next level, ideally an experienced sales professional to develop business in key accounts in the areas of veterinary clinical practices and retail pet outlets to create awareness of their major brands to increase sales while educating on the importance of pet health.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with customers, building relationships to grow the business across vet and pet channels
* Liaise at a commercial and clinical level to increase sales
Qualifications
* Strong clinical acumen
* Proven sales results
* Experience in animal health, pet food or OTC/Consumer Health sales (technical nature such as vitamins)
* Background from a vet practice, manager or nurse acceptable for transition into a commercial role
