Expression of Interest – Casual Education Assistants & Relief Teachers
Bunbury Catholic College invites expressions of interest from enthusiastic, dedicated, and student-focused individuals for Casual Education Assistant (EA) and Relief Teaching opportunities.
These roles may include relief and short-term positions, supporting students and staff across the College in a dynamic and collaborative learning environment.
Education Assistants (Casual)
Education Assistants play an important role in supporting the learning and wellbeing of students. Successful applicants will:
* Support student learning under the direction of teaching staff
* Assist in creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
* Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff
* Provide support across a range of learning needs
* Demonstrate flexibility, initiative, and a proactive approach
Essential Requirements – Education Assistants
* Certificate III or IV in Education Support (or equivalent)
* Current Working with Children Check
* Current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC), as issued by the Department of Education
* Capacity to support a safe and inclusive learning environment
Relief Teachers (Casual)
We also invite applications from qualified teachers interested in relief teaching opportunities.
Essential Requirements – Relief Teachers
* Hold appropriate teaching qualifications and TRBWA registration
* Hold a current Working with Children Check
* Demonstrate strong classroom management and adaptability
* Support the Catholic ethos of the College
* Be flexible and responsive to a variety of teaching environments

* Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Be able to work collaboratively within a school environment
