About the role
Our Host Employer is a leading pump manufacturer, supporting Australian mining, water and wastewater services. With over 80 years' local industry knowledge, a vast network of distributors, three sales offices and two distribution/service centres, this is a great opportunity for an electrical apprentice to work with a leading pump manufacturer in the region. Responsibilities
* Operate manual lathes, mills and drills and assemble, repair and rebuild pumps and equipment
* Examine detailed drawings and specifications to determine the requirements for the task
* Operate and adjust metalworking machines to create parts or tools by turning, boring, milling, shaping, slotting, grinding, or drilling metal stock or components
* Use hand and machine tools, welding equipment, and CNC machines
* Cut, thread, bend, and install hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines
* Work regionally or remotely (meals and accommodation will be provided)

About you
* Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
* Minimum completion of Year 10 High School
* You are currently working towards Cert III Engineering – Mechanical as a 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice
* Driver's License and reliable transport essential
Location: Bundamba
Work Hours: Monday to Friday 6.30am to 3.00pm
