We are looking for an experienced Plant Operator to join our Chlor Alkali Plant based in Kwinana, WA on a Permanent Full Time basis. This position operates on a continuous shift roster: 4 days on (2 day shifts then 2 night shifts) and 4 days off.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control all aspects of plant operation under the direction of the shift supervisor.
- Carry out a wide variety of duties as directed by the Supervisor or Superintendent when acting as relief operator.
- Carry out routine laboratory analyses as required.
- Complete training courses as set out in the training matrix.
- Provide relief for other operators as required.
- Become competent in all aspects of plant operation.
- Assist maintenance staff when required.
- Ensure that all alarms and trips of equipment related to the SIS and BMS safety systems are reported in the Incident Reporting Register.
- Ensure all tanker loading is carried out efficiently and safely and that all relevant records are accurate.
