Overview
This role is responsible for operation of a fixed continuous operation production plant, ensuring high-quality output while maintaining safety, efficiency, and compliance with operational standards. If you have hands-on experience in fixed production and batching plant operations, and an ability to undertake basic mechanical repairs, then this role will be a great fit for you. We are seeking people with a clear commitment to workplace safety, strong mechanical aptitude and a sound understanding of fixed and batch plant operations. This is a great opportunity for a local person to join and work with a small dynamic and supportive team.
Responsibilities
* Maintain 100% commitment to safety, following Adbri Standards and regulatory requirements.
* Work independently and within a team environment.
* Operate the production plant for the conversion of Quicklime through a hydration process into final product known as Milk of Lime.
* Load bulk tankers with Hydrated and Milk of Lime products.
* Conduct product sampling and complete basic quality testing.
* Monitor and troubleshoot equipment failures, assisting in operational diagnostics.
* Ensure compliance with Process Controls.
* Ensure orders are processed on time and within specification.
* Liaise with the customer service team to fulfill customer orders.
* Monitor product stock levels to support uninterrupted production.
* Reduce material waste by monitoring operations and offering improvement suggestions.
What You Need to Succeed
* Valid WA Drivers Licence
* First Aid Certificate (including LV rescue and CPR).
* Demonstrated Plant Operation experience
* Quality control experience (product sampling & testing) is desirable.
* Proficiency in MS office Excel, and Email
Preferred but not mandatory
* Forklift and plant operation experience in a heavy industry environment.
* Confined Space Entry certification.
* Working Safely at Heights certification.
* Equipment and Process Isolation training.
