Reporting to the Financial Services Coordinator, you will work within a supportive team environment to deliver accurate and efficient financial transaction processing, ensuring compliance with University policies and supporting operational and strategic needs. Key responsibilities will include: Processing accounts payable, invoicing, debtor and credit management, asset registration, and journal entries in line with policy and procedures. Ensuring the accuracy and validity of financial data and chart of accounts for reporting, budgeting, and forecasting purposes. Building effective relationships with stakeholders to deliver high-quality finance services and escalating complex issues where necessary. Contributing to governance, compliance, and process improvements to support effective financial operations. With strong technical knowledge and a collaborative approach, you can apply finance policies and systems effectively while building positive relationships with stakeholders to support high-quality service delivery. You will demonstrate: Diploma-level qualifications in accounting, business, commerce, or a related field, with relevant experience in transaction processing or shared services. Sound knowledge of finance systems, policies, and processes to deliver accurate and timely outcomes. Proven experience in accounts payable, invoicing, debtor/credit management, and journal processing. Ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with clients and stakeholders. Experience working in service delivery functions within complex stakeholder and policy environments. Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and commitment to accuracy and compliance.
