This role sits in the Preschools and Early Childhood Services division, which provides strategic leadership and delivery of early childhood policy and programs for the Department for Education. The role focuses on policy, reform and service advice, and the design and delivery of universal and targeted early childhood programs and services, as well as intergovernmental advice and implementation of national initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and support policy and program delivery for early years programs and initiatives in the Quality Preschools directorate.
* Provide operational management of defined programs, data analysis, program reporting, and identify opportunities for program improvement.
* Coordinate governance activities and manage internal and external stakeholders.

* Desirable: Relevant qualification
Special conditions
* The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check (WWCC) prior to employment, renewed every five years.
* RRHAN–EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or Fundamentals online course, updated every three years.

Remuneration
ASO6 $98,478 - $104,165 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading
