About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented
Junior Supply Chain Specialist / Launch
to support our supply chain team, with a particular focus on coordinating activities related to new product launches and supply chain operations. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure all launch and operational activities are executed on time and to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing supply chain activities for new product launches or market expansions.
* Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams to ensure on‑time delivery of components and products.
* Support supplier setup, onboarding, and initial supply chain processes for launch projects.
* Track inventory levels, production schedules, and shipments to ensure launch timelines are met.
* Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to maintain smooth supply chain execution.
* Monitor and help resolve supply chain disruptions or delays proactively.
* Assist in preparing performance reports and KPIs to monitor supply chain effectiveness.
* Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and supplier performance metrics.
Key Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
* Some experience or internship in supply chain, logistics, or operational coordination is beneficial.
* Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
* Good communication skills (verbal and written) for coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
* Basic understanding of inventory management, logistics, and procurement concepts.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to track metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
