Nanny/Housekeeper, Shepparton East
About the family
We are seeking a kind and caring nanny/housekeeper to become part of our family.
The role is perfect for someone who enjoys caring for children, who is reliable and well organised, with an excellent driving record. We are looking for someone already residing in the Shepparton or the Goulburn Valley region.
The role is to undertake household duties and care for two bright and bubbly primary school age children, as well as a toddler. The days of work would be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, with flexibility for Thursday or Friday for approximately 25-32 hours per week. We are specifically seeking applicants that can commit to the position for a minimum of 1 year and have demonstrated experience caring children. The Position
* Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday approx. 8am - 5pm
* Additional hours available on school holidays or occasional evening or weekend babysitting.
* Beautiful riverside location on a property in Shepparton East, 7km from town.
* The position is available to start ASAP.
Nanny Duties
* Sole charge of an toddler, as well as two primary school age children before and after school.
* Transporting children to and from day care and school to home and afterschool activities – vehicle available, driving confidence and competence essential.
* Supervising, educating and mentoring children through activities, play and homework.
* Meal preparation for the children and adults.
* Changing the children's bedlinen and tidying their bedroom and play area.
Housekeeping Duties
* General tidying, packing and unpacking dishwasher in the kitchen
* Vacuuming and mopping floors in common areas
* Washing and folding the family's clothes.
* Cleaning the children's bathroom.
* Meal preparation for the family.
You Will Need
* Kind, caring and patient nature with a genuine love of children
* Skill and experience caring for infants and primary school age children
* Domestically orientated, honest and reliable
* Reside in the greater Shepparton area or be prepared to re-locate to the area.
* Excellent English and non-smoking
* ABN for invoicing preferred but not essential.
* First Aid Certificate, working with children's check and a valid driver's license
* Two references (at least one childcare/nanny related)
