Working within our Team the National Account Manager will be required to develop and grow relationships with our major retailers nationally. This role will specifically drive growth with our existing retailers in Woolworths, Coles, Priceline, Chemist Warehouse, Big W, Spotlight and independents with a view to expand into other retailers such Aldi, Bunnings and Kmart.
Covering FMCG Household and Health & Beauty categories you will be tasked with developing strategic account plans in line with company growth targets, execute promotional activity, own the category review process, and play a key project role in new product launches and retailer branded relationships.
We require an experienced, consumer centric executive who understands how to partner effectively with retailers, with a passion for building brands in market. A hands-on approach to stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, as well as the ability to think strategically is essential.
Your accountabilities will include but are not limited to:
· Own the relationship with key stakeholders at the retail Group across buying promotion and advertising.
· Develop efficient and effective promotional programs.
· Manage Trade spend whilst increasing market share and profitability.
· Control the budget and forecasting process for Sales, scan sales and coop values.
· Identify and develop new sales opportunities.
· Working with marketing and operations teams to co-ordinate new line launches
The successful candidates:
· Success in this role will come from demonstrated experience working as a National Account Manager – Coles/ Woolworths with Bunnings, Chemist warehouse or Priceline experience being advantageous.
· Experience in using retailer portals and data systems EG. IRI Unify
· You will possess a high level of commercial acumen, project management and drive.
· You will have an energetic attitude towards your work and thrive in working in an autonomous and empowering working environment.
· The ability to remain calm and composed when faced with adversity or challenges.
