About the role:
Primarily operating in the Sydney Metro Area (based in southern Sydney), NSW, the Mechanical Fitter / Pipe Fitter, will work closely with the Flow Control Team, in the mechanical installation, fabrication and commissioning of custom Compressed Air Systems and associated mechanical services.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
* inspecting/installing/repairing equipment and pipework
* ordering stock and materials as required to complete site work
* attending customer sites where required for installation work
* liaising with customer representatives directly
* ensuring optimal performance of customers' compressed air installations
* contributing to a safe work culture in workshop & onsite (incl. the Take 5 system, JSAs and any other related WHS requirements).
Some overnight remote work & overtime may also occur throughout the year as necessary for customer installations.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
* Proof of full Australian working rights/residency essential
* Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or similar essential
* Valid Australian driver's license & White card required
* Experience with pipework installation
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
* EWP licence & Forklift HR licence preferred but not essential
* Experience with Pneumatic/ Hydraulic systems preferred but not essential.
