An exciting temporary opportunity is now available for an experienced Customer Service Officer to join a State Government department in Inala. We are seeking availability to commence ASAP, working part-time 18hrs per week, between 9:00am – 3:30pm (Wednesday – Friday).
Duties for this role will include:
* Provide friendly, efficient customer service at the front counter and via phone.
* Respond to enquiries from students, prospective clients, and external agencies.
* Maintain accurate records and spreadsheets using Excel.
* Navigate and update multiple digital systems with confidence.
* Support administrative processes to ensure smooth daily operations.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Ability to communicate clear and detailed information for our website.
* Work in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of tasks allocated and quality checking.
* Demonstrating high-level organisational skills to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Confidence learning and using new technology, including proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
* A proactive and collaborative approach to teamwork.
* Experience working with customers from diverse backgrounds; exposure to English-as-a-second-language (ESL) environments is highly valued.
