About the role:
We are seeking a Mobile App Developer with strong experience in native Android/iOS development and React Native. You'll be responsible for building accessible, high-performance mobile applications, integrating with APIs and services, and contributing across the full SDLC.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and release mobile apps for Android and iOS using Kotlin, Java, Swift, Objective-C, and React Native.
* Convert UI designs into mobile components and collaborate with UX/UI designers.
* Integrate with back-end APIs and services including Firebase and CMS platforms.
* Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1) across mobile platforms.
* Create CI/CD pipelines using GitHub/GitLab, Artifactory, and HashiCorp Vault.
* Write automated unit, integration, and functional tests; collaborate with QA teams.
* Contribute across the SDLC: design, development, deployment, code reviews, and maintenance.
Required Experience:
* Extensive experience in mobile app development across Android and iOS.
* Familiarity with accessibility standards and DevOps practices.
* Experience integrating mobile apps with APIs and cloud services.
* Strong testing and QA collaboration skills.
* Ability to work across all stages of the SDLC.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience in early-stage mobile app development and tool selection.
* React and TypeScript development for web applications.
* Back-end development using Golang and JavaScript/TypeScript.
* Containerisation with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
* Strong ownership, adaptability, and stakeholder collaboration.
* Experience in government or public sector environments.
Mandatory Requirements:
* Australian Citizenship.
* Baseline or NV-1 Government Security Clearance.
