What We're Looking For
* Qualifications of Cert II or III in carpentry, property services or construction pathways
* General knowledge of building maintenance and construction practices
* Familiarity with tools, materials and landscaping techniques
* Ability to interpret basic plans, sketches and work orders
* Understanding of risk management and WHS principles
* Availability to work during school holiday periods
Your Role Will Include
As a Senior Handyman you will support the Facilities Team in delivering high‐quality maintenance, repairs and operational services across the College, including Early Learning Centre campuses. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining a safe, functional and visually appealing learning environment.
* Assist tradespeople with building, maintenance and repair works across the College
* Carry out general maintenance of buildings, grounds and landscaped areas
* Support set‐up and pack‐down of equipment for events, functions and exams
* Maintain horticultural and beautification standards across campus
* Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks as directed
* Assist with deliveries and movement of goods around the College
* Operate plant, machinery and hand tools safely and effectively
* Work collaboratively with staff, contractors and suppliers
