About the role
Khans IGA Group in Picton is on the lookout for a passionate Butcher to join our friendly team. You will play a vital role in providing high-quality meat products and exceptional customer service to our customers.
What you'll be doing
* Cutting, trimming, and preparing a variety of fresh meat products to customer specifications
* Providing excellent customer service and product knowledge to assist customers
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
* Assisting the Dept Manager with inventory management and stock replenishment
* Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
* Bring a positive attitude and work ethic every day
What we're looking for
* Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent experience as a butcher
* Experience in a supermarket or independent retailer is a plus
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently to meet customer demands
* A passion for providing high-quality meat products and a willingness to learn and grow within the role
* Reliability, honesty, and the ability to multitask under pressure
* Available to work on the weekends
