Backed by a multi-year contract, the site provides a high-quality FIFO experience. Site features include: Modern, well-appointed camp facilities including gym and wet mess Camp located close to the mine to minimise daily travel High-quality catering and food standards 2:2 roster - days, then nights, followed by 14 days off Interstate flights provided from major capital cities The Role and Duties You will be part of an experienced trades team working across both the workshop and underground environments, supporting a diverse fleet of UG mining equipment. Your responsibilities will include: Surface and underground workshop maintenance including servicing, repairs, PMs, scheduled maintenance and breakdown response Field service work including diagnostics, fault finding, repairs and problem-solving Working on a variety of underground equipment including development drills, load & haul machinery, ground support and charge-up equipment Roster & Hours 2:2 roster consisting of 7 days, 7 nights, followed by 14 days off 12-hour shifts on a Wednesday-to-Wednesday swing Fly to site on Day -1 (Tuesday) and stay in camp prior to commencing day shift at 6:00am Fly home Wednesday morning at approximately 8:00am, with interstate connections arranged where required Your Value You will hold a recognised mechanical trade qualification and have current or recent experience working in underground hard rock mining. You will also bring: Exposure to drills, boggers, trucks and/or ground support equipment Ability to work effectively in both workshop and field environments Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when required Capability across mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical fault finding A strong safety-first mindset and commitment to site protocols The Opportunity This is an excellent chance to secure a FIFO position in South Australia on a family-friendly 2:2 roster with all flights provided, while continuing to build your underground mining career.
