As an Assistant Store Manager, you’re key in supporting the Store Manager to help your store reach its full sales potential, operate smoothly, and create a positive, engaging work environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager to help the store reach its full sales potential and operate smoothly.
- Create a positive, engaging work environment for the team.
- Lead and develop a high-performing retail team; motivate and coach staff.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure store standards are met.
- Ensure safety and compliance with WHS programs; manage stock control, visual merchandising, loss prevention, and performance reporting.
Qualifications
- Retail management or leadership experience; able to lead by example and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Robust leadership skills; ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
- Eagerness to learn all aspects of automotive retail.
- Operational know-how in visual merchandising, stock control, loss prevention, and performance reporting.
- Commitment to safety and WHS compliance.
- Mechanical experience is a bonus.
