About This Job

St Teresa's College, Abergowrie, is a Catholic secondary boys' boarding college located in a rural setting in the Herbert River Valley, approximately 30 km northwest of Ingham, on Warrgamay land. The region's main industries are sugarcane, forestry, and cattle. Nearby attractions include Wallaman Falls, Australia's highest single-drop waterfall, and Broadwater National Park.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 10-12 Pastoral Middle Leader for a full-time, 3-year contract starting in Term 1, 2021.


About The Role

The Year 10-12 Pastoral Middle Leader supports the mission of St Teresa's College through effective leadership in student support as College and community members.


Key Accountabilities

* Leading the pastoral care of students across multiple year levels
* Supervising and inducting teachers involved in pastoral care within the designated area
* Providing pastoral support to staff in the area of responsibility
* Performing additional duties as directed by the Principal and College Leadership Team

Applicants with experience in boys' education, boarding environments, or rural/remote areas are highly desirable.
