The Quarry Operations Leader will oversee daily activities at a busy quarry site in Geraldton, ensuring all aspects of operations meet required standards.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day operations, guaranteeing adherence to safety and environmental guidelines.
* Supervise and support staff and contractors, promoting proactive safety practices.
* Direct production, maintenance planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Oversee crushing and screening, drill and blast, loadout, and quarry development processes.
* Develop and manage performance targets, cost controls.
* Conduct regular audits, training sessions, and toolbox meetings to ensure compliance.
* Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and the local community.
Key Performance Indicators: Successful candidate will be measured on their ability to lead operations effectively, maintain a safe working environment, and achieve set goals and objectives.
