Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Expert to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for preparing clients for and resolving risk reviews audits and disputes with revenue authorities.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for lawyers with experience in tax law and tax disputes to join our team. You will have the opportunity to work with clients in preparing for and resolving complex ATO audits, preparing objections briefing counsel and advising clients on ATO Risk Reviews Audits Independent Reviews and tax litigation.
* Work with clients in preparing for and resolving risk reviews audits and disputes with revenue authorities.
* Collaborate with a range of specialists across various teams to develop written and oral advocacy skills and provide legal advice.
* Work nationally on engagements with opportunities to engage across jurisdictions and with partners and team members from other states.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Experience in corporate tax international tax tax law and/or tax dispute resolution and controversy in a professional services firm or law firm.
* A strong ability to establish stakeholder engagement and act as an advisor to the business on topical areas of tax law.
* Strong interpersonal influencing and project management skills able to motivate and work as part of a high-performing team to achieve outcomes.
* Ability to support career progression for high-potential people by identifying development needs and providing guidance.
* A Law Degree.
