Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Duty Manager to join our team. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel and ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service.
About This Role
The successful candidate will have at least 1 year's supervisory experience within a hospitality operation. They will possess excellent customer relations, problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills. A strong knowledge of a hotel property management system is also essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to guest needs and resolve any issues promptly
* Supervise and support colleagues during busy periods
* Conduct daily departmental briefings and participate in regular team meetings
* Ensure the safety and security of hotel guests and communicate with senior leadership in the event of an emergency
Requirements
* At least 1 year's supervisory/leadership experience within a hospitality operation
* Excellent customer relations, problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills
* Strong knowledge of a hotel property management system (e.g. Opera)
