Human Resource Officer Job Description
We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team in a Human Resource Officer role.
As an HR Officer, you will be responsible for assisting with all HR operational aspects, providing administrative support for recruitment activities, and maintaining accurate documentation throughout the employment lifecycle.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Manage HR inbox, digital files, employee records, and maintain accurate documentation.
* Create bespoke HR reports analysing HR metrics on recruitment, staffing, turnover, performance, budget/resource planning, and other HR trends.
* Work with hiring managers to define roles, update roles and responsibilities, screen applications, shortlist qualified candidates, schedule interviews, and create job ads, ensuring compliance with relevant employment legislation.
* Oversee employee inductions, paperwork, compliance checks, verification of qualifications, licenses, and working rights, onsite orientation, and transitions.
* Coordinate appraisals, KPIs, probation reviews, performance improvement, disciplinary actions, and grievance processes.
* Keep policies updated, ensure legal and WHS standards are upheld, and assist managers with compliance.
