About the Role
The role of Delicatessen Manager is a key position within our organization, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the deli department. This includes ensuring exceptional presentation, welcoming and engaging experiences for customers, team members, and the community.
Reporting to the Store Manager, you will have full accountability for maintaining high standards of customer service, leading, coaching, and developing your team to meet sales targets, cost control, and rostering requirements.
As a leader in this role, you will be expected to monitor stock levels, implement rotation routines, minimize wastage, shrinkage, and maintain quality control. Simplifying processes and adhering to strict audit, food safety, and compliance standards are essential skills required for success.
Additionally, you will be responsible for driving a one-team culture that celebrates success and prioritizes the health, safety, and wellbeing of team members. Your primary goal will be to deliver an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
