About the Role An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Facilities Officer to support the day-to-day management and operations of a TAFE NSW campus in Coffs Harbour. This full-time, on-site position plays a key role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and compliance of facilities and infrastructure.
This contract position offers the chance to work in a professional environment where your skills will directly support the smooth operation of an important education facility.
Contract Details
* Location: Coffs Harbour NSW on campus full time
* Hours: 7hrs/day 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
* Contract Period: Until 26 December 2025
* Rate: $67/hour + superannuation
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and manage general site maintenance and repairs
* Monitor and report on the performance of building services
* Liaise with trades and contractors to ensure timely resolution of facility issues
* Maintain records and ensure compliance with WHS and asset management procedures
* Support facility-related projects and routine site operations
* Utilise facility management systems such as SAP, BMS, or CMMS
What You'll Bring
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a facilities, property, or site operations role
* Familiarity with SAP, BMS, or CMMS systems (preferred)
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
* A proactive and solutions-focused approach
* Understanding of WHS and building compliance requirements
* Current Working with Children Check, National Police Check, and two references
* Valid driver's licence
