Financial Leadership Role
This is a key leadership position that oversees the accounting function of a business, providing strategic guidance and oversight to ensure financial operations are aligned with organizational objectives.
* Manage BAS/IAS, company tax returns, and compliance for clients.
* Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns across various entity types.
* Lead client engagements end-to-end, managing scope, fees, deliverables, and deadlines.
* Provide tax planning, advisory, and structural strategy advice on trusts, company setups, business sales/valuations.
* Oversee system transition projects, including training and support for clients and staff.
* Mentor and coach junior accountants to ensure accuracy, consistency, and high-quality service delivery.
* Identify process improvements to enhance workflow, client service, and firm growth.
* Maintain proactive client communication and manage expectations, timelines, and compliance.
This role requires strong technical skills in Xero, BAS, company tax, financial statements, GST, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of public practice accounting experience, CA or CPA qualification, and excellent leadership and management skills.
