We're seeking a Chef de Partie to support our talented kitchen team in delivering exceptional dishes that showcase the best of seasonal produce and coastal flavours.

Where you'll make an impact
* Preparing and producing high‑quality dishes in line with Hamilton Island's standards
* Supervising and supporting junior kitchen staff, ensuring consistency and compliance with food safety and hygiene requirements
* Assisting the Sous Chef with daily operations, including menu execution, food requisitions and kitchen organisation
* Contributing to training, mentoring and development of team members
* Maintaining cleanliness, equipment care and compliance with Work Health & Safety policies
* Contribute to the smooth operation of one of the island's flagship venues
What we're looking for
You're a motivated and reliable chef with strong leadership skills, excellent attention to detail and a genuine love for creating outstanding food. You thrive in a fast‑paced environment and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team that values quality and creativity.
To be successful, you'll need:
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (Essential)
* Minimum 4 years' experience as a qualified chef in a reputable hotel, restaurant or commercial kitchen (Essential)
* Previous supervisory experience and strong knowledge of sauces, butchery, cold kitchen and volume production (Essential)
* Excellent communication skills, personal presentation and a positive, team‑oriented attitude
