* Eligible for registration in the category of RegisteredNurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* Demonstrated advanced nursing practice within the EmergencyDepartment.
* Demonstrated advanced skills in planning, coordination anddecision making, within the Emergency Department.
* Demonstrated well-developed team leadership and mentorshipskills.
* Demonstrated well-developed written and verbalcommunication and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrates incorporation of quality and risk managementwithin practice.
Recruitment Pool Details
This is an"open-ended" recruitment pool, and as such thefollowing should be noted:
* The panel will monitor thisrecruitment pool for applications, and will assess on a regularbasis.
* Suitable applicants will beplaced in a pool from which appointments may be made whensimilar vacancies occur.
* Appointments may be made fromthis pool until 31/12/2026.
Position Profile
The primary responsibility of theClinical Nurse is to manage, coordinate and deliver competentnursing care for patients, using leadership, advanced nursingskills and knowledge relevant to the Emergency Department.

Area Profile
WACHS Kimberley is the mostnorthern health region of WACHS. The Kimberley region hasapproximately 200 Aboriginal communities, over 34 differentAboriginal language groups and 45 percent of the population areAboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. WACHS Kimberleyconsists of six hospitals, an inpatient mental health unit, threeCommunity Directorates and a Corporate Office. WACHS Kimberleyprovides hospital, community health, public health, remote areahealth, community aged care, and mental health services across theregion through a dedicated team of medical, nursing, Aboriginalhealth, allied health, and support staff.
