Through technical expertise, proactive maintenance, and customer-focused execution, the role supports the continuous operation, efficiency, and sustainability of power systems while upholding the highest standards of safety, innovation, and service excellence aligned with Hitachi Energy's portfolio.**How you'll make an impact:*** You will perform installation, testing, and commissioning of HV equipment, execute pre-commissioning checks, functional testing, and energization support, interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals, ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and safety procedures, conduct scheduled inspections and condition assessments, perform preventive maintenance activities to maximize asset life and reliability.* You will repair or replace defective components (mechanical, electrical, control), perform emergency breakdown response and restoration activities, carry out root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.* You will retrofit and modernization projects for aging HV assets, improve system performance, safety, and digital integration, perform advanced electrical testing and diagnostic assessments and interpret test results and generate technical reports, SF[6] gas density and leak detection, manage SF[6] gas handling, recovery, and environmental compliance.* You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.* Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.**Your background:*** Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Power Engineering, or related field is an advantage.* A-Grade Electrician.
