Rise Dispensary is a Pharmacist owned medical practice and Pharmacy specialising in Medicinal Cannabis treatments. We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Tecnician to join our growing team ASAP.
Situated in Beenleigh, Rise Dispensary services Logan City, Brisbane's southern suburbs, and northern Gold Coast.
Rise receives referrals from GPs, specialists, allied HCPs, and patients may also self-refer.
We have a full-time opportunity for a Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Beenleigh's established Medicinal Cannabis clinic and dispensary.
Candidates must be available to work alternate Saturday shifts as part of the role requirements.
This position would suit an organised, mature minded person with the ability to work as part of a team and autonomously. Communication skills, friendly telephone manner and the ability to multitask whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism is fundamental to the role. Experience in Dispensing is advantageous, however we are willing to train the right candidate.

Your role will include:
* Supporting Pharmacists in the dispensing of Medicinal Cannabis prescriptions. (dispensing experience preferred but not necessary)
* Supporting Doctors with patient care before and after appointments in clinic (training provided)
* Educating and counselling patients in the use of Medicinal Cannabis and associated medical equipment (training provided)
* Pharmacy compliance administration tasks
* Supporting Practice Managers in the maintenance of Doctor appointment books and booking procedures
* Processing sales and customer service
* Processing incoming stock orders
* Welcoming and directing customer traffic flow in store, over the phone and on-line.
Skills & Experience-
- Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant preferred but not essential
- Strong communication and patient focus
- Excellent computer skills
- A positive and professional attitude to engage a whole team approach
- Strong personal work ethic
- Flexible and motivated
- Ability to take initiative with little supervision working both autonomously and collaboratively
- An uncompromising attitude towards discretion and confidentiality
- Have sound organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and reprioritize at short notice
