The Opportunity
We are seeking a Student Project Coordinator to join our team in the School of Engineering, Design & Built Environment.
This exciting role involves managing the day-to-day operations of various student-led project teams, including but not limited to Solar Car, FSAE, Robotics Club, Sustainable House, and the proposed Rocketry teams.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Coordinating purchasing and managing resources and budgets
* Fostering partnerships and ensuring compliance with WHS&W standards
* Ensuring our student teams participate in competitions
* Managing our student flagship programs safely
* Evaluating workplaces, developing project-specific processes, and conducting safety audits
* Celebrating achievements at major events such as the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge and other student-led team competitions
About You
You hold tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Design, or have equivalent relevant experience.
You have extensive experience in coordinating all facets of project management, including administration, management, and support for student-led projects.
Your high-level analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving skills are complemented by your ability to interpret policies, research issues, and provide sound advice.
