The ACT Courts and Tribunal (ACTCT) is seeking applications from motivated individuals to fill the position of Executive Support Officer who is responsible for providing high level executive support to the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Branch Manager, Corporate and Strategic Services.

The Executive Support Officer will have demonstrated high-level experience in office administration. The successful applicant will be required to exercise a considerable degree of independence, sound judgement and the ability to continuously prioritise matters. The Executive Support Officer will be exposed to sensitive issues where confidentiality and discretion is paramount.

The Executive Support Officer will liaise with stakeholders at all levels within the ACTCT, other ACT Government directorates, external stakeholders and occasionally, members of the public.

Eligibility/Other requirements: Two years’ experience as an Executive Support Officer in the ACT Public Service is highly desirable.

Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of up to 12 months with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.

A merit pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
